Reads like a stuck return valve on the front circuit. Doesn't your reservoir cap have a vent? Expansion should blow out through the cap.

Just an update still having issues brake pedal went all the way to the top front brakes stuck on after driving in town and stop and go traffic so lots of brake use
I opened the right front bleeder closed it and then did the left and my brakes released then all was well for the rest of the day as a matter of fact I just went out to the bus and there’s a inch travel on the pedal and she rolls across the shop floor no problem

The only thing I can think of is I got too much fluid and there’s not enough room for expansion so I’m going to drain some out I had filled it to the top out of habit from single circuit drum brakes

What gives???

Throwing parts at things is never a solution but im so frustrated got a big camping trip planned in two weeks and not really wanting to bleed brakes while camping or driving through heavy traffic
So far besides the hoses I’m thinking of ditching the 67 master and going for a late model master cylinder conversion but before I do that I’d like to know what my issue is

If it rolls fine after sitting for a week that’s a good sign it’s the rubber hoses. Finally able to squeeze back past the collapsed section

Well after sitting a week it rolls fine still going to take it apart and fit that silicon grease to the calipers
The hoses came with the kit but I will get some braided ones
I did not fit the rear differential valve since I don’t think 67 master cylinder needs it

When the brakes are locked up, open the bleeder on that caliper. If it squirts fluid and then allows the rotor to move freely then it’s most likely the soft line. Even if it looks good the inside could be bad and collapsed. The master cylinder will overcome the resistance but the caliper will not have enough pressure to allow the fluid to return to the master cylinder/ reservoir. Also make sure you don’t have a residual valve still in line with that caliper. They are designed for drum brakes and keeps the pads near the drum but will cause disc brakes to not release. You can tell if it looks like there is an adapter between the master cylinder and the hardline for the brake system. If you do just remove it but if your hard line is now to short just hollow it out with a drill and reinstall it.

Also consider Sil-glyde silicone grease for the sliders it’s not as sticky when it gets cold. I’m sort of on the other side of the lake from you and it solved a lot of my daily driver issues with sticking brake pads in winter weather.

I had the same issue my first disc brake conversion.

I drove the bus home about 30 miles with out any issues then drove it around after sitting a couple weeks and the brakes started to drag eventually the right caliper just stuck right on it did free up a bit but it took all 50 hp to get the bus back in my garage
I installed the kit last year have over 5000 miles on on it, they tended to drag a bit during the first 1000 miles
Here’s what’s been done;
67 master cylinder conversion had installed this a month before I did the conversion I know empi states you have to use a fresh master but since it was only a month old I flushed the system throughly before.
I used the kit anti rattle shims and I think that caused my initial drag issues
I used high temp grease on the caliper sildes (I’m going to take it apart clean and use permatex high temp green)

64 big nut so 64-67 rear brakes I did not replace the wheel cylinders they are three years old but as mentioned before I had flushed the system
Master cylinder pin is fully screwed all the way in pedal is at the top approximately 1 inch play
What do you volks think
Master or slide pins gummed up
