The brake shoe is much to tight on that difficult to turn drum, back it off. It should not drag! Follow the instructions in the service manual as shown....

Having just done the rear brakes, how tight should the drums be? I went for a short drive and one drum is scalding hot. When I put the drum on, I could turn it by hand but it took some effort.
Also, my ebrake is now very loose after the brake work. Should I just tighten it up? How much slack is typical on the adjusting rod? |
