Does anyone know anything about a company that was from Redding,Ca. Called Wil-Mac Products Inc. they used to make a body kit for VW's that looked like a Jeep. It was an all steel body,Roll Bars,top.ect.ect..

Sorry Mark thats not it, And I had the name wrong its called The Scamp.
I had read someplace it was called VEEP so I only assumed,(daaaaaaa).

I remember seeing them marketed as a "Veep" as well. Looks like it even says that on the fender.

i thought i remember someone saying that AMC/Jeep? took them or threatened to take them to court. that may be why there aren't that many out there?

Grump: I posted about this thread on the Thing forum (many people there are familiar with ACVW SUV-type vehicles) in hopes of helping out. http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=213957 Someone posted a good picture (front end) on there.

Cool name "Veep", I've heard of it once when my friend purchase a Jeep brake booster on a auto parts shop... They said some van owners are changing their van to jeep called Veep.. Pretty cool...

A guy drove into myshop in one of those a few years back...lives about twenty miles from here. Hadn't seen it in a quite a while but about 6 months ago I heard he kinda thinking of selling it. Workmanship was very professional...if I find out I'll post it.
