does anyone recognize these seats as in what vehicle did they originally come out of ?
I am going to be putting them in my bug soon

That looks like classic mousefur material the Japanese were known for using in the 80s.

Isn't there any kind of identifiable marking or part number on the underside that you could Google?

Looks like early 80's Scirocco, or Golf/Rabbit seats to me. Do you have a pic of the recline knob or handle? That could seal the deal on the make.

They look like the late 80s Mazda 323 seats I used to have in my bug years ago..I believe they were 19 inches or so across...I've seen mazda seats in alot of cars because for some reason the cloth holds up on them...

I'll have to disagree with the RX7 seats. Its missing the stitching down the center, and the black on his seats tapers toward the back the higher it goes.

These seats would have been from an 86-92 RX-7. These are out of an 87' . And heres your pic.

no, on the seats in question, look at the sides, and the wave the bolster forms. So far they haven't been identified.
