Im not too big of a fan of sears or their customer service but got a gift card for $200. So the question is, if you had $200 at sears what would you get? Thanks

The problem with those gear wrenches is that the box ends are too fat to get them in ANYWHERE you actually need the gear wrench. It's a nice idea, but less practical than you'd think.

Most definitely!! That's my favorite time to shop at Sears.

Lay out your tools and figure out what you are missing and start filling the holes. Wink

Ditto on Trams responce, have them myself and almost never use them. Anyplace big enough to get them in you really do not need them. They will not even work to get the rear nut off of the carb to intake.

$200 at sears, well they do have a really nice porta-jump that will even recharge itself while driving, I think its 1150 cranking amps for about 100. If you do much wiring on your car, maybe flip for some Klein crimps and strippers. The Klein screwdrivers are the best I have ever found, also available at sears.

I would go through my toolbox, throw away the cheap-ass tools, make a list and head to Sears...

One thing about Sears: their sales prices are substantially more-off than their competitors. Stuff goes on sale for half-price like some digital multimeters for $10, 1/4 inch socket sets for $10, floor mats half-off (let them sit in the sun outside to off-gas a few days first), floor jacks. I've started using Sears more the last few years, been fine with that, have two of their 19.2 cordless drills, and a stubby, set of regular and stubby, with 2 batteries and charger, was $90, and also bought a lawn tractor there. Yeah, they couldn't deliver that as originally scheduled, so I rented a flat trailer to get it, and they shipped a part to the wrong address, but, hey, it's America!

Their torque wrenches are pretty good. I purchased both the ratchet style and the meter-dial "beam" type wrenches four years ago, and both have held-up pretty well so far.

**edit.. (Sorry... I don't have much to offer in this thread as I don't buy much from Sears!!)

maybe you could buy $200. worth of torque wrenches?? Think
