I have a 78 delux westy and a 78 non delux parts bus. I want to swap out the refer for the cooler style, besides drilling a hole for the drain tube is there anything else that is needed to make the swap?

While we are at it, because I am removing the electric fridge I want to make the aux batter run my sound system and lighting, not including headlamps brakes ... If I just disconect what is on the battery now do any other systems go down on the delux westy?

sounds fine you'll loose shore power charging the battery at campsites is the only thing if you disconnect the whole reffer system at the battery, better to just disconnect the reffer from the switch under the seat and above the reffer.

I never camp with power anyways. I have a deep cell that I am going to put in there once the battery tray gets replaced (should arrive monday). The aux battery is going to be charged by a 200amp Relay off the main battery. It is going to be activiated by a bus depot aux relay off the wire that they recommend, the one that is only live when the engine is running. Using the 200amp relay because with my sound system the Bd one alone keeps blowing fuses and doesnt charge the battery at all.

Yea I am taking pics today but making my bus almost look like a "PO Hack" I am installing fogs, Installing a radio in the glove box changing the the seats, changing the rear bed, changing the cooler. Sound dead and reflectix the front doors and slider door. Will put in the gallery when I wake up from exhaustion after the weekend is over.
