I thought this was a cool discovery I should share. Someone will probably show me ten posts that describe this very thing, but it's a risk I'll take.

I was carrying around a spare piece of gutter in the van and it happened to line up in front of the rear heater vent. I just happened to reach down between the seats and was surprised feel a nice blast of hot air. So that made me think a piece of ducting would be a great way to bring more heat to the front in the winter. Not a permanent install, just something laying on the floor in front of the vent for those really cold days.
