|
|
I recently bought a 1999 Eurovan Weekender. I bought it from Arizona and the stickers didn't survive. I'm guessing that it just got too hot for them and someone removed them because they were peeling. Anyway, it leaves me with a Westfalia stickerless poptop and I can't have that! Can anyone supply me with dimensions (and pictures if possible) of where the factory put those stickers? I know it's not a big deal but I won't want to be the one in the lineup that has stickers off by 1/4" from everyone else. Imagine the embarassment!
Thanks in advance to anyone that can help! |

Copying this from VWvortex, in case anyone here needs it in the future:

Location of the front "WESTFALIA":
The last letter "A" in WESTFALIA measured 6-1/2" from the driver side sloped edged of the pop-top and 1-1/4" up from the upper edge of the pop-top rubber seal.
Location of the rear "WESTFALIA":
The "W" is 4" as measured from the driver side roof edge and 1-1/4" up from the upper edge of the pop-top rubber seal.
I used a tape measure to get these dimensions from my 2003 EV Weekender. They should give you a rough location.
All Eurovan Weekenders had the "WESTFALIA" foil inscription on the front left and back left of the pop-top. The factory part number is: 701070914 and it's identified as "foil inscription/'WESTFALIA' in silver grey. |
