how is the aluminum trim on the rear parcel shelf of a 63 coupe removed? thanks

I have never had one attached with screws or adhesive. They just hook around the top end of the parcel shelf. You should be able to pull gently with your hands at the curves and it should pop off.

Mine had a bit of glue. Pull the bottom a bit before the top. The top hooks on.

Mine had a few crimps on the bottom edge to secure it, which I bent out slightly to remove mine. Not sure if that was the original way in 1970, or if a PO did it.
