This thread is going to be on the build of the car, Paint and bodywork, assembley and light fab work. If you want to see the custom welding and fab work, It is in my thread metalshape'n and fabrication at GAB-FAB. I will start off here with the pan. I cut and made the center of pan removeable. I ct and replace pan halfs from a pan I got from mark at wolfsburg west. The pan with the orange pan halfs is a pan that I did for roger crawfords 67 convertable. Just useing pictures as a reference to how bottom bolts back on.

Hi Keith, Stoddards in cleveland Ohio carries all the stuff you need to rebuild 356 B brakes. They also make stainless pistons for wheel cylinders and stainless bleeder screws.

This is a mid mount that I make if anybody is interested. There is meant to be the piece welded to the flange on the frame horns, I already had pan painted and tranny in car before I started make'n them. So The next time the tranny is out, I will weld piece on. And another shot of the other mount I make. The deal in center of mount , Is meant to locate on the center of floor jack with out the ring on jack. Keep from slipping off jack.

Now that I let paint set up or cure for about a week, I take a razor blade and go around car and scrape any dirt and and tiny sag's I got while spray'n the car. After that, I go around with 1000-1500 grit sandpaper on a soft rubber pad and color sand and then rub paint. I like useing the sponge pads that 3M offers to rub paint

I'm suprised at the clacker fuel pump on that build. I've had good luck with them but most people bad-mouth them.

I'm going to steal your idea on the removeable center spine panel. That's a great way to make upgrades and maintenance easy!
