Hey Everyone,

Citing lack of time, living in the city, and numerous other factors, I'm contemplating stepping away from the Aircooled hobby after nearly 15 years.
Currently, I have a '73 Thing, and a '72 Porsche 914. My lack of time to wrench has left the Thing is slight disarray; it needs a new header bow before I can install the brand-new Stayfast canvas top I bought for it over a year ago, and there is some rust in a few of the fenders and one spot on the rocker panel. The 914 is awesome. Both have been mostly garaged since we moved to San Francisco in 2007, and have seen very little mileage.

Before I step into the fray of the Classified section, I'm asking if there might be interest in taking the Thing, the 914, and every single spare part I have for both as one big lot. As I said, I'm in San Francisco so a local buyer would be preferred.

The thing has disc brakes (front), Jackman wheels, new Toyo offroad tires, and a Bob Donalds engine. The 914 is also modified (intelligently), with a euro-spec & blue-printed 2.0, Revolution wheels, Koni suspension and goes like mad. Zero rust. Again, just trying to figure out if there's interest for a buyout of everything I've got. I ride my bike everywhere, and we're looking at an EV in addition to our Subaru Forester.

You're going to need to place a Classified ad.
