Hi guys, new to the forum! Im looking into buying a VW sandrail, but on a budget. My brother is buying one and my dad is rebuilding his. I plan to be rebuilding this buggy too for some serious off-roading. The only thing I dislike is the swing axle, is it good for off-roading? let me know what you think! http://cnj.craigslist.org/cto/3948660924.html

You'll probably get better response on the off-road forum.

judging by ONLY the paint job. i wouldnt buy it. Not applying the proper way of doing things just shows how the sandrail and motor could have been built. i find it funny that nothing was taped off during the paint process. The new "paint" could have been applied to cover or hide the cancer or rotted parts. reminds me of how i spray painted my bikes when i was little. good times.
