I'm having a problem. Can someone please give help. My homepage is now incresed is size by three fold. I have to use the slider bar at the bottom just to read it. How do I fix that? Plus I'm finding words in all the forums that are now highlighted. Like art, hat... Its not just the word. lets say the word "that" comes up. Well "hat" is now able to be clicked on. The "T" is left alone. yes, I'm getting it in here also. My norton thing doesn't detect anything.
Help please.

Either your screen resolution is huge or the font size is.
Maybe it's your font size. In IE click on VIEW then TEXT SIZE then re-select a size. _________________ "I spud therefore I yam." |

thanks! That helped. Now I have crap that is downloading itself onto my computer. I uninstal it. The next time I go back online, it instals itself again. And it puts it's icon on my desktop. I think I'm going to throw this thing threw a window. _________________ 66 Ghia (German Look) Under construction |

Go into your Control Panel and get to the Add/Remove Program and find that file and remove it. _________________ Anthony

Do a google search for the name of the program, and find instructions for removing it from your system completely. It has an entry in your start up menu that needs to be removed, actually there are at least three places it could be to get activated at start up. That's why a search for instructions ought to help you find them all. And to deal with your shit head roommate, look for instructions in password protecting your computer, or at least files, and protect the internet filter files on your computer after turning the filter on . Didnt gateway send him reformat disks when he bought the thing? Just load them.
CTL+ALT+DEL and look for programs that look odd and tell them to stop.
Go to ADD/REMOVE and kill everything that looks odd.
Empty your Temporary Internet Files folder
Empty your Cookies folder
Empty your Bookmarks
Clear your History
Download a free Spyware/Adware program somewhere and run it.

Are you sure it's not a virus?

Load Mozilla, and use it as your browser instead of Microsquish Internet Destructor. Also go to Download.com and get Spybot Search and Destroy.
It is freeware which will get rid of alot of popup and adware stuff. _________________ Founder and Chairman Emeritus, ECMSAS

Sounds like a virus. Go to www.computerassociates.com and download their free virus program. _________________ "I spud therefore I yam." |

Sounds more like spyware, go to www.downloads.com and get AdAware or Search and Destroy. Free programs that removes spyware from your PC.
Also to increase/decrease text on websites and otehr documents hold down the 'CTRL' key and scroll up on your wheel decrease the text font and scroll down to increase the text font. |

BINGO! $100 baby! Or free if you listened to a timesharing sales pitch out in the California desert, haha!
Or if you were even earlier, the TS1000 was already assembled, that's for lightweights... you assembled your Sinclair ZX80 kit yourself!
A columnist for PC Magazine later mused that he was putting that computer to its highest and best use.
As a doorstop!
