What's currently available?
CB had VW Mexican heads on their website but I just got off the phone with them and they are NLA. For stock heads they have Autolinea Brazilian and not sure the friend will take them. _________________ Glenn

Even the Mexican 043 heads were 35.5x32. Stock FI was 33x32. The 32s had a larger stem and may have been sodium filled. I've used carb'd 35.5x32 heads before on a FI engine before because there was nothing available. They MAY not last as long as the originals did though.
If you do go with 35.5x32 heads, just use some aftermarket head with stock sized ports. _________________ "A petrol engine can start readily, run smoothly and give every appearance of being in good order, without necessarily being in good tune." - Colin Campbell, "The Sportscar Engine" |

Awesome John... i'll get back to you as soon as I know what the guy wants to do.
He's under the impression that it's not hard to find OE German FI heads since he's concerned with the quality of the stock Mexican ones. _________________ Glenn
