clear coat peeling

This is not on my bug, but I thought I would ask any way. On my company truck, the clear coat just started getting "bubbles" under it. Another one of our trucks, a yr older than mine, did the same thing starting a yr ago. the color coat is intact. Can anything be done to save the paint, or just start over? Thanks, Sam

I dont know about International but in the late 80s and early 90s Ford and GM both had ALOT of peeling problems. Most of them were caused by overcuring of the primers and basecoats so subsequent coats didnt adhere. Usually when this starts stripping and repainting are the only options to fix it. Sorry I cant offer more.
