I was cleaning up 50 years of wire splices in the engine compartment of my 1965 Deluxe today. Can someone help me with the brown wire. Looks factory, but I can't identify it in the 1965 Wire Diagram.

Looks a little like the fuel gauge wire from here.

Yep - That's it. Pulled the tank after the transmission and motor. Did the POR15 Fuel Tank restoration, new coat of paint and a new sending unit. Just forgot about the sending unit wire. Thanks.
