Type 2 nose cone and CB front mount

got a type 2 nose cone for a rancho pro street gearbox going in a 59 ghia, decided on the cb rhino mount and said fits type 2 to 67

when to fit up and noticed it did not sit flat

do i start taking some of the mount away to get this flat or work a little off the nose cone or both ?

Or try again with a different mount ?

any one had experience of this

have you tried to rotate the mount 180 degrees?

Yup tried both ways,
thanks guys just wanted a bit of reassurance before I start grinding
