I have googled, and called all the local auto part stores in my area, and no one carries this bolt. All the threads on here from years past, say its very easy to find. auto part stores, home depot, lowes, etc...nope nope nope
I found some on amazon with the tapered face, for lug bolts, but i have to buy a pack of 10. all stores in my area carry nothing more than a 10mm in the size i need.
is anyone else having this problem?
i only need 2
(this is for the torque meister tool)

Try Ace Hardware or True Value Hardware, in the little drawers.
Here's why: 12mm x 1.5mm pitch is considered "fine pitch". (12mm x 1.25mm is called "very fine pitch"; common thread is 12mm x 1.75mm) _________________ 1970 VW (owned since 1972) and 1971 VW Convertible (owned since 1976), second owner of each. I've seen plenty of 1.25, and 1.75. but no one likes that 1.5.
i even tried Fastenal, and got denied.
I have an Ace, and a True Value pretty close to me. I'll try them tomorrow.
thanks for the suggestions. |

ACE came through. They only had the smallest length being 40mm, but I bought washers to decrease that length. $5 and I had what I needed.
thank you!!!!! |
