Ladies & Gents....
I have a switch that I cannot identify enough to order a new one. It is on the gear switch housing next to the reverse light switch (2 pole). This is a single pole switch with a VW part number 113.941.551. I googled and googled, searched JBugs, Aircooled.net, etc. NOTHING....
Last night I read somewhere that it might be a switch that illuminates the fasten seat belt light if the car is in a gear and the seat belt is not secured. It did have a wire connected to it. I have the wire but I don't know anything else.
Anybody know? I want a new one. This one is not working. _________________ '73 Std., Being restored to stock with common-sense upgrades.... wait that's a contradiction, ain't it? |

if it is this extra switch, it is the seat belt warning light
Have you checked the switch with a meter to see if it is the switch or the wiring?
Probably best to put a wanted ad in the classifieds if the switch is indeed bad. _________________ Rick
