Hi! I am picking up a 56 Beetle, and want to replace aftermarket aluminum wheels with smoothies. Car is not a show car, just a nice driver. Jbugs offers 4.5" and 5.5" Stock 1600 DP, no plans on bigger HP. Thinking 4.5" since it is period correct. Is that a mistake? 4.5" via Jbugs is about $88 a wheel. Local paint guy said $400 to paint 2 tone white with horizon blue L331 paint. I THINK the stock wheels would have been painted same color as the body. Opinions needed. Thank you Samba folks![/b]
