Carb backfire, Engine losing revs

1800, standard carbs.
To keep the engine running I have to dab the accelerator, it then runs steady for about 20 seconds at 2000rpm, then it looses revs until i dab it again. Will not idle at all.
No vacuum leaks but I am checking again.

Any ideas? Confused

maaybe your jets need cleaned??? it worked for me... Confused
