I know its hard to call $52K a good deal, but this bus looks rather nice.
Anybody know anything about this specific bus?

It doesn't look like the same bus. There are several differences between the two including antenna on the nose, towel bars vs euro bumpers, white passenger window frame vs sealing wax red, chrome hubcaps vs painted, cab divider on the current one for sale, and look at the paint in the cargo area of the one in Vegas vs the one on Spacebook.
$18,500 was a lot of money in 2004 especially for a panel. I would be shocked if someone paid that and then left it outside and changed out or added items that I listed above.
However, stranger things have happened.
Viking Funeral: We need some evidence that they are the same bus because the pictures posted of the two have a lot of differences. _________________

I've seen it in person, and it is indeed quite nice, and it has an interesting backstory. _________________ -Thom

Buried in “general parts”. I’m not a big-top tent aficionado, so I’m not sure if it’s late splitty or bay. But even if it’s a baywindow, $300 is super cheap for how complete it is (all the extra bags/stakes). Worth a drive out to look if I were closer…

It is a Bay but almost brand new. The frames can be modified for a Big Top. |

Technically not a "big top" as that is for a Bay. Big Tops were for the SO42 late splits. I think I paid 300 for one in the late 90's before I knew the difference and it has sat in a box ever since. I think they run 6-800 now days. |

It needs some frame repair and location sucks, but a great deal regardless. Quite a few hard to find parts included.

You're missing the m-code plate pictures, restoration pictures, deluxe trim on bumpers and rocker panels. |

Says the rocker trim is included in the add. I agree, a pre restoration pic would be nice along with some type of verification by the m-code or birth certificate. |
