Look what else the seller left for the new owner to do.
"Also I have all the photos and paperwork to send in to Manx for authenticity of this being a 65 Manx...."
How very thoughtful of the seller. _________________ "The simplest of outdoor adventures - the most treasured memories." - Bruce Meyers

I am really impressed that he used "pour 15" in it. Maybe he just "poured" it on the buggy. _________________ Bad News Racing 2018 NORRA 1000 3rd in Class

EDIT:
Removed Link for the protection of Buggy Users. The link was to a EBay add that had a corrupt phishing link to it that could steel your ebay information/password. _________________ Bad News Racing 2018 NORRA 1000 3rd in Class

Be very careful of that ebay link. I saved it to my ebay and it shows over 4 days left to go on the auction, but, once I click onto the item, it flips the screen and shows around 1 hour left to completion. The ebay address is also incorrect.
The scammer is very good. If you are on the 1 hour left screen and try to go to your "my ebay" page, it asks for your user name and password, but that security screen is not ebay's security. DO NOT ENTER the data, the scammer will have your password and used ID and can hack your account. _________________ Bad News Racing 2018 NORRA 1000 3rd in Class

Guys, I think this may be out of ebay's control... It's hard to stop a phishing site from harvesting usernames and password (depending where the server is)...
I would recommend you remove the link from the post ASAP to prevent anyone from accidently using it. |

Well, The bump on the front seems to fit, but the rear fenders flare out more than on mine. The back is custom if it is an MM. It's just how they describe their means of authentication that seems a bit sketchy.

I have a problem with this buggy. He states up front his buddy copied an original body and made a few, this being one of them. Even though it is a clone, he has put a Meyers Manx hood badge on it. IMO, that is wrong.
Makes me wonder what happened to the other bodies his buddy made.

It's a shame because it's a beautiful buggy, if I bought it all I'd need to do is throw the front bumper away and it'd be good to go. Obviously it shouldn't have a Meyers Manx badge on it (I guess all of those badges that were going on eBay a couple of years back had to end up somewhere!) but at least the guy's being completely honest about things.
I guess we only care because of our regard for Bruce. If it were a Speedster replica with 'Porsche' badges on it or a Cobra kit with Ford and Shelby badges no one would be at all bothered...
Maybe if someone had a quiet word with the guy?
What do people think of these badges, freely available for fitment to Manx copies in England. Bruce saw them on his recent visit and didn't seem at all bothered.
