Hey everyone, I have a new [old] movie to add to the list. I just started watching 'Final Destination 2'. By the 12th minute, I've seen one blue Vanagon and one white Vanagon Westy. I wonder how many more I'll see...

Add a blue Westy by the 15th minute!

That's such a sad picture. The roof cargo carrier on the blue vanagon is massive.

I posted this in the other thread, but it probably fits better in this one.

Seen elsewhere, the guy was describing the layout of his place, "...mountains in this direction." It's a big pic.

FYI, you have to be logged in to see that photo.
Can you "steal" it and repost it here?

Toad & Company catalog has a Vanagon Westfalia is several pics.
I (barely) noticed it in the big picture first.
Funny how these companies will use an IH Scout, Land Cruiser, Land Rover or a VW bus but the image is cropped so closely, you can barely see, never mind, identify the vehicle. But they aren’t trying to sell the vehicle, I guess.

From an online promo for Tucson. Not mine and I don't recall seeing it around town... but then it might be contrived or AI.

Is Mt. Lemmon in this shot? Maybe to the right in the distance?

I drove to the summit/end of the road during a short vacation to Tucson in 1999 so I can relate slightly to the mountain range. Yes, I stopped in at Chirco's VW shop!

Mt Lemmon may be just out of the picture to the right as I can see Cathedral Rock near the edge of the photo. Although Mt Lemmon is the high point in the Catalinas it's not an impressive pointy peak.

Table Mountain isn't tall but it's more distinctive. It's the boxy looking thing the person on the left seems to be pointing at. As I recall, back in the days before telegraph the army would communicate by heliograph (mirrors) and the heliograph station on Table Mountain was where the signal from Ft Bowie would turn the corner and be relayed north.

Greetings!

I was unable to screenshot the image of a Vanagon on a photo scroll
while shopping on the Renogy website.
There was an ariel photo of a full size camper van ( generic Sprinter shaped ) and a Full Westy with a popped top.

Maybe one of yall can find the image?

Cheers!

Watched The Nigerian Prince on Netflix the other night. Pretty good movie and, much to my surprise, two VW vans were featured, not just seen in the background. Movie was filmed in Lagos, Nigeria and the vans looked pretty authentic for the setting.
