Probably not overpriced.

Looks like all correct inside, but not very good pictures to really know for sure. The engine compartment color seems different and I'm not sure about the off white steering wheel? It seems like a black steering wheel would be more correct?? Beautiful car. I don't think the price is unrealistic if it really has less than 20k?.

Its really sad that the VW vendors are so greedy cant even offer a decent discount to a restoration shop kgpr vw offers 10% discount, a total joke.
I have restored loads of KG's starting back in the 80s and i got great discounts from West Coast Metric getting jobber price now that does not exist, i have to buy thousands of $$ to get a discount.
I have so many cars right now that i need to finish,im looking to buy parts again im just venting here folks have a great day.

That jobber price is for shops only. They buy way more than just thousands over the course of 20 years. If you want jobber become a dealer for their parts and stock tens of thousands of dollars in inventory at any given moment. I know we all feel like we have spent a lot of money on our restos that the next one should be free but in the grand scheme of things VW parts suppliers really don’t move a lot of inventory.

I get 25% to 30% from dealer ships for my Body shop Borbon Fabrications and i know exactly what jobber price is i use to get it and i did not have to stock any parts. There is not much of a discount now for restoration shops i see that as greed.

At $41,970 perhaps they are trying to recoup the losses after a failed four wheel drive project.

Whoa, getting vertigo just looking at the ride height. My mate Nick paid just a little bit more for his beautiful '56 Lowlight back during lockdown. Rolling Eyes
