You can establish a new savings account to be used strictly for Paypal. Then, set it up for Paypal and then make it the Primary account and delete off your checking account. That's what I did for my savings account I use for Paypal money. My credit union uses in-house suffixes that most companies don't recognise. I deleted out the account I initially used when I set up for Paypal.
Does that make sense?
