So are you showing that you painted that chrome color?

Nope. They're OG chromed Sprit Stars. I just removed the layers of old paint that the previous owners put on the wheels and cleaned up the surface rust that was present. Once the paint and grime was removed the chrome was polished a bit with some Autosol to smooth it out and bring out the original luster (or whatever I was able to recover). Once that was done I just masked it with some newspaper and put on a few coats of semi-gloss black. I know it may not be the right way to do it but I was pretty stoked with what I ended up with. Spent just one afternoon doing 4 wheels. Total cost including the wheels was less than $150. Very Happy

The set I got from 2kabrios, then sold back to him are the only set of 14's I have ever seen. Im willing to bet they are very common at all!
