Nope. They're OG chromed Sprit Stars. I just removed the layers of old paint that the previous owners put on the wheels and cleaned up the surface rust that was present. Once the paint and grime was removed the chrome was polished a bit with some Autosol to smooth it out and bring out the original luster (or whatever I was able to recover). Once that was done I just masked it with some newspaper and put on a few coats of semi-gloss black. I know it may not be the right way to do it but I was pretty stoked with what I ended up with. Spent just one afternoon doing 4 wheels. Total cost including the wheels was less than $150. _________________ Volkswagen Club of the Philippines |

I slept on crofty's tent once. I passed out drunk from two bottles of Everett's brother's wine. |

| I'm another pinoy to add to the list. Also I have a set of 5 South African SprintStars. They're very common over there; at one point they were the standard rims from their dealership so it's nothing special for them. I traded an oval clip for my SA Sprints 6 months ago. |
are the 15s as common as th 14s? |

The set I got from 2kabrios, then sold back to him are the only set of 14's I have ever seen. Im willing to bet they are very common at all! _________________ To his their own PBJ
