Is there much slop from side to side? Do you have to take out the center adjuster, or would I be better off buying an aftermarket beam?

you can use the stock beam, but you have to have good aftermarket bushings. there should be no side to side slop, other than what the bushings allow.

yup, regular aftermarket bushings. keep in mind, you cant use stock arms, unless you have a cap welded on the arm, with a 1/2" hole (centered). my recommendation, is to use 2 1/4" longer arms (at least), set up for coil over.
