I like Zenith Blue, too. Both mine and my brother's '67 were that color. Clean, modern, but with a lower saturation, unlike later colors, so it takes on a different look depending on the lighting. Not too dark to be hot in the sun, either. Looks good with the black beading and rubber, as well as white interior trim, now that color-coded pieces are so hard to find. |

I always liked orange bugs for some reason, but my favorite is split between Coral Red and Sea Foam Green. I really like Gulf Blue too. Ironically, neither of my bugs are any of these colors. Guess I'll have to buy more. |

I second the Stratos Silver too. Someday I will own a VW in that colour.
I like bright colours and Beryl Green is my favourite colour from that era. Here is my 1962 Beetle. This colour changes a lot under different lighting... _________________ 1974 "Restfalia" Camper 2000 cc EFI 2001-

Definitely Beryl Green. No surprise there. Mines a 61 and quite faded. |

Pre 1968
Parl white. L87
Herbie stripes and gum balls if you must.
Post 68-79
Tuxedo black. Especially if a super beetle.
New beetles?
I would avoid purple, pink, and perhaps yellow, but that's because im a guy.
Oh wait, the one exception to all of this-
Any convertible should be l87. White white and white. The triple white convertible look vw came up with always struck me as being a beautiful sight to behold. _________________ --

VW Blue and Sea Blue. Also many others.... But those two are likely my favorite, at least for today. |
