I just installed a clock on my 73 SB convertible. I hooked up the positive to either fuse 10 or 11 to have constant power. I grounded the the clock to the collection of grounds behind the odometer and then I tapped into the odometer dimmer wire (grey/red) to operate the bulb in the back of the clock.

Thanks for the info. I was just wondering if there was a dealership recommended instructions on how to install the clock wiring.
