I'm not mad about the video...I was pointing out that all the nut swingers come out in force when someone says something bad about the place but now that some random dude makes a vid, it's more 'credible' than users here saying something.

I would not read that far into it. I've been here on The Samba for a while (Oh, look, 20 years!) and respect the members here. I thought I'd share a video someone finally posted about their experience with Boxeer. The thread's title is "Boxeer, any honest reviews?", right? Cool, then I posted in the right place.
I've been considering a Boxeer kit for a while. I read this thread some time ago, and it's given me pause. I've no idea what happened between the video creator and Boxeer, but I presume the payment was made in full based on the statements made in the video. The fact that Greg refused to take his customer's engine to the END OF THE DRIVEWAY so that a shipper could pick it up speaks volumes about character. I guess I'll go ahead and supercharge my ABA conversion. . |

If I had the time, I could make a video twice as long as that one, stating all the empty promises Dylan Friedman made to me for the work he did on my van. Oops did I say his name. No place in this community, for these dishonest dudes taking people's money. _________________ '86 2wd Poptop transplant

I found this review on YouTube. It's an eye opener. The lack of follow-on care is a deal killer for me.

That dude says Vanagon the same way as those cringy folks who say Porsh when they're referring to Porsche. If I could issue a citation for verbal failures, this would be on the list. _________________ Casey--

Correct, banned, you should hear his side of that story. Ok, let' not stray from this thread topic. Too much negativity surrounding that guy... for me anyway. _________________ '86 2wd Poptop transplant
