Lowlight Karmann Ghia Coupes, YouTube video Put-in-Bay road races 1957. Put-in-Bay is a small island in Ohio at the southern end of Lake Erie, due east of Toledo. Road races were set up on some of the public roads for a few years in the late 1950's. Low-resolution video was likely based on an 8 mm film camera. This appears to be a parade lap of a specific vehicle class.
