Just wanted to say that Ricardo is off the charts incredible! A dying breed of craftsmanship and attention to detail. His perseverance to getting the exact reproduction is second to none. He spent over a year designing and fabricating the 1962 - 1967 bus clock bezels because he wouldn’t settle for anything less than perfect. I bought 10 of them to make sure that I didn’t miss out on the perfect part when I had the chance. Thanks again Ricardo!

Just received my center telefunken antenna, Grab handles and screws from Ricardo from splitpartsunlimited. Very hard items to find or get, made in Argentina with excellent service and quality. They had to make some items not ready on there shelf.
So be patients, plan ahead, & when you get them its all well worth the wait!
After they shipped the items tracking provided, Argentina to the USA - Northern California in just about a week!

Ricardo is making beautiful parts of high quality! I bought som sbl 17 tail lights, hella reflectors and brakelight for my 1956 panel van. Ricardo informed me before the payment that he had some delay in producing the part, he is communicating well and when I received the parts it was even better then on the photo’s.

I got my order of semaphore parts from Ricardo last week:

-SWF rubber bumpers,
-SWF ribbed outer arms
-SWF ribbed lenses

The rubber bumpers are new to me and of there highest quality and great fit-will not fall out. Really well designed.

I have used his ribbed arms and lenses and they are of the highest quality and fit and the lenses are of the best plastic out there and light shines thru well. color is perfect.

I will be very BLUNT because VW enthusiasts seem to be easily fooled into buying inferior products,. I am aware of the ribbed semaphore products of other vendors and they are of such poor quality generally I don't know why people buy them. The other big seller on here converts Asian smooth repro to ribbed and workmanship is OUSTANDINGLY BAD, as are their repro arms. The lenses used are acceptable but why not buy them direct from the maker semaphorelenses here on the Samba

Always effortless with the communication when it comes to dealing with Ricardo and his company. I’ve dealt with him in the past and as recently as March 2024 when I purchased a set of popout windows for my split beetle. Between having 2 sets sent altogether, I can attest that any product he makes is a quality one well worth the wait. Unfortunately, I’ve had the fun luck of buying substandard products from other “split repop” vendors only to be dissatisfied with what actually showed up. This has never been the case with Split Parts Unlimited. And in any event a product wasn’t readily available via SPU, he definitely gave me a reputable source to get it from. Highly recommend.

Purchased a set of Ricardo’s early Porsche Pre A wiper arms blades and bases. They look super accurate and make for a nice addition to my car. The brake fluid reservoir he makes for early cars is also very sturdy and nice. On another note he took care of an older item that seemed to have a defect and he really took care of me. It’s not something you find in business these days and it really shows he is interested in making things right. Thanks again.
