Thanks Lotrat. We painted it with the same paint as the GMC. Looks good behind it. Now, if I can get this pictures to come up myself I will be happy.
Have read the instructions several times but I am missing a step somewhere.

Thanks for the help, Lotrat. Here is another view of the new paint. It really came out slick. Now to get a warm day to put the new chrome headers on.

| I'm a sucker for louvers on a baja. Last time I saw them they were a little pricey. Where did you get them? |

Ebay, used. And, I paid a premium for it. I just could not find a new one. I painted it and it looks pretty good. Has some brittle spots so I have to be careful with it.
Thanks for your help Lotrat.

I recently got this from Layne8 in Idaho, it can now be seen around Oregon City (minus the business name). I have 2 other VW's, a '68 Herbie replica and a '74 Super convertible. They are all fun drive and get lots of attention.
Neat car!! Do you have any more detailed pics of this that you can share? was this orig. a kit, I am thinking bout building one. Thanx!!
They say - "you can't own just one VW", I guess "they" are right! |
