No reproduction decals are available. In the photos I can see that you have the back one. Do you have the side ones? If not I can send you pictures. I had decals made by an auto vinyl place. Came out very nice. They were able to reasonably reproduce from measurements and photos. I also peeled off one side of the original decal and then glued the pieces back on a piece of butcher paper to preserve them in case I needed them for reference. Enjoy the trailer, you hardly know it is there except for all the stuff you don’t have to carry in the bus anymore. _________________ 1967 Beetle / Lil’ Tud

I do have a good photo of the side decal, this one is the better:
Some peeling around the edges but the trailer came from southern California so understandable. Did the vinyl shop just reproduce it from the photo? Is there a special file they need to print one?
I've got the hubs taken apart now, the original bearings were shot. Bearings I took out are commonly available trailer bearings #L44643, they come in a kit of all 4 bearings plus grease seals. The seals #10-9 but I can't verify that at this time.
Now I am wondering if stay-open gas pressurized support struts can be added. _________________ Vanagon ’83 diesel AAZ w/Giles injection, 5spd 4.57R&P+TBD and a '78 diesel Rabbit |

I received this with my Caboose, along with the "Certificate of Origin" from Coleman and the original sales receipt from a building supply:
I found this picture rather amusing as they obviously targeted the modest thrifty demographic. Especially since I have a Rabbit and the tiny trailer would be ideal for pulling behind a Rabbit. I just had to wonder what the paddle was to be used for???
The trailer had never been transferred or had a title (California) as it was not required for such a small trailer. When I went to get a title (Idaho) no other document was needed except for the Certificate of Origin and handwritten receipt from the seller. She explained that the Certificate was the title, even though it was from 1984.

I just picked up this vintage Coleman Caboose in Pasco. Mine also has a Yakima system added. Came on the samba to check where to buy stickers. Doesn’t seem like anyone has had luck.

So I picked it up today. Perfect condition, as new, no rust, cracks or chips, just dusty from storage. He said he only used it three times and always kept it in a dry garage. I'll be attaching a Yakima system to the top for either bikes or our small kayaks. I think it was worth the 100 bucks he was asking.

I picked up mine a few years back off a motorcycle tourer. It's been great for my family and camping needs. The flag is a bit of a joke though, I can rarely see the trailer in the rear view mirror!
Here's a pic from the UP in Michigan.
Love that you've got a bike rack mounted to the frame of the trailer. |

Mine isn't the caboose version. It is the older all steel version. Quadruple's the storage available. I love it.

If anyone is interested, I have a Coleman Versa Trailer I'm ready to part with.
- 12" tires and rims - relatively new+ new spare
- Completely rewired to include LED taillights/turn signals
- Top is intact, no cracks or leaks
- 3" frame lift
- Minimal, if any rust (surface scratches)
- Hitch and ball included.
I'll put it in the classifieds shortly, if I can figure out what category to list it in.
