pristine stuff is really nice for show.
However I really like stuff that has been used as intended over the years as intended. I camp a lot and use my stuff, all in good shape but used.
Will last for years without much attention.
I have lots of it.

Apparently I camp alone. It was 90F, windless, blue skies, perfect camping weather but only 10% of the sites were in use. I guess you have to be retired to take advantage of mid-week hot spells.

Love the wire shelving. I have the solid type. Rare here in the US.

Easter this year at Cheddar (Where the cheese is from).
The tent is a drive away and just gives us that bit more space and comfort
Curry and rice on the stove
Woke up to a weird noise… the burner of a hot air balloon that landed in our field _________________ 1975 South African Fleetline |

Like it, must get myself a fold up table off the door. Seems to work well.
Dispite having a modern double burner in the camper it would have not been my choice but it was there when we got it. So we often just use a cartridge stove outside for fry ups and anything else greasy or smelly. On the flip side I love the compressor fridge. _________________ 1975 South African Fleetline |

First time camping in the bus since the Dormobile roof was added. It had been nearly 30 years since I woke up in a Dormobile!

This time the screen worked with the bottom and both sides on the inside of the door. The top was supplemented with dish towels at the hinges. We were at a site that had the neighbors noisily spraying bug repellent everywhere and not one mosquito entered overnight.
I had a rope attached to the jail bars in case a covey of aggressive raccoons or a bear decided to test the screen. In theory, the rope would close the hatch quickly. |

As befits your name ...
Where in current North America is the fire danger low enough to have that size of fire? Seems like everywhere is burning, if its not flooding, or both. |
