Little something done. Got the under side of the hood, sanded and epoxy primed.
Playing with the mix to the color. Think I have the look I’ve been looking for .
Candy brandy wine pearl over black base . With all the curves on these bodies it will look black but when the light hits it , it shows the candy .

That looks great! Those dimple die holes look really good.

I originally wanted to do those on the rear…but I guess I turned into a louvre lover (slot slut… Embarassed)!

I also bought 10 velocity stacks to put in the holes .This is them just sitting in the holes. they will fit flush when I'm done.

Haven't had a lot of time to spend on the project but was able to get a few hours in on making new door interior panels. I was thinking about those nice aluminum panels. but i had aluminum panels in my last race car and the noise isn't worth it. So i made a new board out off Masonite . drew a diamond design to let the upholstery guy know how i want it laid out.going with black with red stitching. made some arm rests out of balsa wood and going to get him to cover that. along with the 1/4 trim panels.

I do like the pattern on the aluminum door panel a few pages back and will probably go with that pattern with few modifications to adjust for my arm rest .

That’ll look nice in black w/red stitching. Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

I smiled when I read you made the arm rest out of balsa…I did the same on a car years ago. The upholstery guy covered it w/black vinyl…looked great.

Good to see you back in the shop!

Thanks . I’ve been in the shop , just no time for the bug. Playing catch up all the time with doctor appointments taking up time during the work days. Now it’s up to the upholstery guy. Started tinkering with the wires a little bit also . Body is going into the paint shop soon .

My luck, my upholstery guy had a massive heart attack and is in the hospital. won't be doing any interior work for a few months. Oh well, at least he's ok.

My son took off of work this week to do my wiring. He's gaining ground on it. I would of never been able to figure out this mess.
