Again back to get some knowledge, is it possible to add shorter rear torsion bars? I have a 57 bug, and really like the set up without the torsion bar sticking out. I took some pics of what i have. Plus my old torsion bars look crunchy... I'm also saving my $$$ to buy a complete set of rear suspencion from Atomwerks, thus the questions.

Popcorn Thanks!

If you want to use the later (shorter) swing axle plates and caps you'll also need to swap out your torsion bars to match.

Thanks! I've done some serious leg work trying to find out. Actually there is a link here in the samba, someone did exactly that. I would have to change Torsion, spring plates, bushings... Now i just need a second job to feed my resurection addiction!
