Are these Beetle or Bus? 2 1/2" long, 1/2" wide at base, and arm would be 1/8". I got these NOS from a friend years ago and I have nothing here to compare to. _________________ ---

the ones on my bus measure about 3.25 inches. so those are likely beetle ones. _________________ .

i disagree.
lind, are you sure your's aren't 66-67 bus ones? those ones are super long.
the ones in the pic sure look like earlier bus ones to me.
maybe this pic can help?

I was thinking the same thing. I have original bus black ones (early) at my shop and I can check tomorrow. I looked at my '62 Beetle out back and they are different.... _________________ ---

long-rrofs, are the holes for the wiper shafts (in the arms) totally round, or kinda squared off? |

Look really round and have a squared section at the bottom, if that helps. I may try a picture, closeup pictures really suck for me. _________________ ---

hmmm. well......
i really didn't think there was a difference between bug and bus bases anyway. i thought it was just in the arm inserts. i haven't checked a parts book, so .... |

I just assumed that the smaller ones were beetle. maybe I have a bunch more bus ones than I thought. _________________ .

I've got the 3-1/4 inch bases with flat arms on my '65 panel. I think I got them from Lind.
I've also got a pair of bus wiper arms with 4 inch long bases (SWF) and narrower arms that have a pronounced bend in them. The bend is about 3 inches from the wiper end of the arm.
Are these longer base/narrow tapered arm wipers for older buses? Would they be "correct" on a '61 Standard? |

Here's a pic of 5 different bus wiper arms/bases. The two on the left look the same but 1 has VW logo and the other has SWF logo. I still have a few others, like the 67 only and a few other different base sizes/shapes. The ones pictured were handy and I'll dig the others out later to show all the different styles, shapes and sizes I have.
The short bases measure 63 mm and the long base 80mm[/img] _________________ Stocking distributor of "The Funky Green Panels"

The two I posted up top have SWF and VW stamped on them. I tried to take more photos, but my camera went down. _________________ ---
