Biulding a 6" over adjustable leaf sprung beam with 10" towers and 2.5"x1" over arms.
Ordering my arms today Very Happy
Anybody know what length shock I need? or how much travel to expect?

just wait til you get your parts then assemble without leaf springs and motion your tire all the way through the travel and measure at your closest and farthest away.

10 inch stroke shock.

As far as travel should see at least 10-12 maybe more i dont have a for sure answer as that can depend on a few things.

10 to 12 inches of travel won't take a 10" stroke shock. You probably have three to four inches less stroke than travel. Think about it. Rolling Eyes

Thats why i said at least 10-12 i have heard about 14 is more like it just depends on how things are done.

I am using 8.5 stroke shocks now and havent measured my travel yet with the 2.25 longer arms if your theory is correct i should be about 11-12 right?All i know is it made a very noticable difference over the stockers
