So, I purchased a plywood roof lining kit, why , I'm not sure... but its here.
I have lots of luvly pics off google of them all laid neatly out on the floor but cant find pics of them installed.
What I'm after is, please feel free to laugh, the thin strips about 1 1/2" wide, do they go underneath the joins or on top of joints??
Any info would help, a pic would be amazing.
Thanks in Advance!
Oh, and Happy New Year all
Regards
Tony |

thanks for replies and pic. I have all the parts, I wanted to know how I fit them. On that photo you appear to have metallic joining strips. I have wooden ones, so am I to presume they sit like the metallic ones do , from underneath?
And they would screw into the bus roof frames and the strips just support the panels? |

ok, I'm struggling with this.
My van originally had a fabric headliner and I'm replacing it with a wooden one.
How are the sheets held in place? They don't seem to flex and fit behind the upper cills of the van. Are they screwed in place? or do I need to weld some form of channel for them to fit in?
Losing the will to live doing this now... might have a bonfire soon. |
