Hi,
I need rear bumper brackets for my 54, are all pressed rear bumper brackets the same?
Cant find any in the classifieds anyone got any for sale?  |

I'd have said they were the same upto 59. Getting hard to get hold of now, although there were a couple of sets on here recently that sold real quick _________________

actualy there is a left and right rear bracket if you look it up in the parts lists. There is a very slight bow curve to an nos pressed bumper and the brackets were made to fit this curve. It is nearly impossable to tell this on used brackets that were slightly bent ... it seems they all are... so I would not loose sleep if you have two of one kind the bumpers are usualy so bent up anyhow that they are almost never right even if nicely stratend! |

| Now i have had time to think about it keith i think i saw a guy at buses and bugs invade the village who was selling repro ribbed rear bumpers, splash pans and rear brackets. Anyone know who that was. cip1 perhaps? |

Does anyone have some damaged ones?I have both rears but someone modified them to fit a 2x8 board.So the bumper mount area is flat. _________________ Somebody stop the world spinning.I think I am getting dizzy.
