Does anyone know if the transmission carrier (111-301-255 A) fit an automatic transmission Ghia?

You might want to post your question on VW Automatic Register, http://vwar.org/forum/index.php

I've had some success getting answers to my autostick related questions from members of the vwar forum.

I disagree - I've had questions linger over on VWAR for weeks. I would ask your question here and over on the 68 and up forum on Samba.

I put my autostick trans back in my 71 super last year. As I recall, that brace is the same one used in manual cars (bugs and Ghias). The front mount is unique to the autostick trans, but the rear mounts are the same as for manuals. Thus, I'm pretty sure that brace is the same too.

All I can say is I guess your experience is different then mine.

As I said "I've had some success getting answers to my autostick related questions" on that forum. From my perspective even if there is a small chance of getting an answer it doesn't hurt to try.I

This site has a listing of various autostick parts. https://www.evwparts.com/volkswagen/AutostickTrans.html
