Does anyone know if K&N makes a filter that fits a 1993 Eurovan 2.5 liter? I did a search on the K&N website. http://www.knfilters.com/search/appsearch.aspx

Nothing comes up using the model name "Eurovan". Searching the model, "Transporter/T4 2.5L", Air Filter E-9187 pops-up. Anybody know if this will fit?

I am not sure what the sales pitch is that seems to make people believe K&N filters are the greatest thing since sliced bread. I prefer documented tests on expension test equipment over seat of the pants opinions.

Here is an eye-opening comparison of filters with the K&N being way down the list, only slightly better then a butterfly net!

Very Happy First off, evrywhere in the world except for in the US, you have a t4 transporter.. it is only a eurovan here... ( just like vanagons are t3 caravells) Second, the K&N filters to fit stock applications are not really worth it.... If you are doing a hot rod and want a big ass air cleaner, then they are great.. all kinds of big shiny chrome things, Unless you live in a perticularly dusty area, I wouldn't bother( K&N can be washed, re-oiled and put back on) The biggest problem, is that no matter how nice of a filter you install, you are limited in flow by the stock airbox snorkel. You have a little opening for air to get in, and only so much will make it... We used to take the airbox on the old GTI's and jetta's and take a hole saw and cut several holes on the bottom to let more air in... this works, but also makes more noise.... Twisted Evil Twisted Evil
