check out my articles section too:
www.RuntRod.com

FYI, the Rat Patrol chop isn't your standard chop job so definitely not recommended for the newbie fabricator/welder. General chops require 1 (or 2) donor bug rrof to widen and legthen your bug when it's chopped. Also rear glass cannot be chopped, something you should consider before starting the job on which direction to take that with. Search www.volksrods.com for more info anc chec the LAzy thread stick'd at top for general FAQ.

generally speaking, there is no "right way" to chop any vehicle. Each chop is unique to itself and how the builder designed it. Volksrods and runtrod both have some ways to do a chop, Tex Smith has a decent book that shows numerous ways to approach a chop.

I'm finishing mine up now on my 67 and it is very unique in the way I've approached it. Got over to Franklins page and look under the projects section of his forum. I've posted pictures from the original concept PhotoChop to current state.

Good luck!
