so Im putting the doors back together, and I cant seem to get it together. is there a trick to reassembling these windows? What happens is if I put the glassin the channel first, the regulator wont go in. If I put the regulator in first, I cant get the glass in  Can anyone help? |

Regulator needs to go in first... one part of the cable/mechanism tucks up under the upper inside piece of the door... But do not bolt it up tight, just start the 2 bolts by the window crank...then the wing vent goes in, then you put the glass in and attach it to the regulator and tighten up the rest of the regulator bolts.
of course you have the outer chrome scraper and inner seal and felt all in place first. |
