They're a neat idea, central idle system on the drivers side carb with pipes connecting to the 'dummy' passenger side carb. Both cards have enrichment circuits though. Check your throttle bushings aren't too worn out or you'l get false air and have a helluva time getting them running properly.

The pipe at the top of the drivers side carb is air intake for the central idle circuit. The big screw is air bypass and the little screw is mixture. The scres in the base are for your throttle plates .....

Ratwells site I'm sure has a lot of info on the procedures to get them running good.
