				| Just got one today and have a couple questions before installing it.
Directions say the bottom holes go to the valve cover and or as well as the fuel pump block off. If you run the bottom to the valve covers, wont the hose take most of the oil. I know that its all going to end up in the same place, but it this ok?

I want to hook up the valve covers and the fuel pump block off to the bottom of the unit. There are only two holes there. Is it ok to T the two valve covers into one and use one hole in the box for the two covers and the other hole to the fuel pump

THe top holes I will just vent to atmosphere as suggested. Will this work OK? Thanks!!

				| I use one of the bottom holes to drain back to the pump block off and the other is plugged. I tee the valve covers and run them ito one of the top holes and plug the other.
Then I put a small K&N style breather on a 90* fitting in the hole facing the shroud.

Look close and you can see the hoses in this picture:

				| The only problems I've had with them RIS is the gland nut holding the box to the stand. Only engages about 3 threads.
Next one will get that area machined thinner to allow more engagement.
 That and some blue loctite.

				| make sure you use sealant along with the o-ring for the cover otherwise it will leak. | |

				| I received my CB breather a few weeks ago. My motor has to be completed before I install it. I preferred the look of the Berg Breather, but I figured for <$40 I would try the CB. Your clues so far are helping, I will have mine machined for a better fit.
 Thanks!

So I suppose you've had both and chose the Berg unit based on side by side comparisons.

				| I had to machine the gasket surface of the breather box to keep it from leaking. Since then it works very well. Jerry...

				| IMO Berg stuff is way over priced. There is no doubt that MOST of their stuff is good stuff and well thought out, but damn!! THe CB unit has baffles like the Berg and I have sence bought and installed the CB unit with no probs and no leaks. It should work just as good as the Berg and cost $150 or more less. Plus, ever wonder why only 1/3 or so of their parts on the internet have prices? And ever wonder why they put an MSRP price on there? Arn't they the acutall manufacturer? Just something to think about. | |

				| Quality costs. I have a CB breather. It's nice, but the quality is nowhere near that of the Berg breather. | |
