I have many questions, I have tried to install deck lid stand off's but i a can not figure out how to get the latch to catch.
Any help would be awesome.

the latch won't catch with stand offs . ur better of just using. tennis ball on the latch bottom part . old skool way .. why do u need stand offs ? _________________ Just Cruzin Sur Califas VW Car Club est♤1998 |

I made this instead of stand offs,,,lowered oil temps by 15 degrees. Use it during the hot outdoor temps

If you're running a stock motor, you shouldn't need standoffs on the engine lid, or a tennis ball to hold the lid partially open. VW's engineers designed a very capable cooling system for the stock motor which works quite well as is. _________________ '63 Ragtop (current)
