I over tightened by passanger side wind shild wiper and broke the cone shaped shaft off, well, the thread part broke off. What the heck is this that part called, where do I get another one, and how do I replace it? I figure that I will probably have to remove allot of the dash to get to it, but what else is involved? Can I use the one from the rear wiper? I have an inspection coming up in January, and I don't think I need the rear wiper to pass.
Thank ya much

You need to replace the entire wiper shaft and get yourself a Bentley manual to see out torque specifications.

Rear shaft is different PN 251-955-721 Both left and right are also different PN 251-955-215=L 251-955-216=R.. The "good" news, is that these parts are the same from 1980-1991... Very Happy Twisted Evil Very Happy
